This book presents a chronological compendium of the music scene throughout the centuries. Its content is grouped into seven chapters, from music prior to the year 1600 to current music, going through the great movements of Western culture. In each of these chapters the biography of the most representative composers has been included. Each topic is accompanied by some listening tips, easily accessible on the Internet.
